Scripture
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and life.
Our Faith
We are united around the essential truths of the Christian faith, centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in Scripture.
The Essentials
These beliefs form the foundation of our teaching, worship, and life together as a church.
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and life.
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, lived without sin, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return.
We believe every person is created in the image of God, yet all have sinned and need reconciliation with God.
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not earned by human effort.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God, lives in believers, guides us in truth, transforms our lives, and empowers us to follow Jesus.
We believe all who belong to Christ are part of His Church and are called to worship, grow, serve, love one another, and make disciples.
We practice baptism as a public expression of faith in Jesus and Communion in remembrance of His death and the new covenant established through Him.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, eternal life with God for those who belong to Christ, and the promised return of Jesus.
Our Posture
We believe Scripture matters deeply, which means we take theology seriously. We also recognize that faithful Christians who love Jesus and honor the Bible have reached different conclusions on some secondary matters.
We want Hailey Community Church to be a place where those questions can be studied and discussed honestly without becoming tests of fellowship or reasons to divide the body of Christ.
Come study Scripture and follow Jesus with us.
